Why reviews are important
Students seeking tutors will rely on reviews to make their hiring decisions. Students view reviews as they will personal recommendations. It is therefore important for tutors to offer great experiences in order to receive raving reviews.
What information is shared with students?
Students will see the number of reviews, and average rating of the reviews. They will also be able to read individual reviewers and comments left by other students
To be considered by a student on a job they have posted, you will need to place a bid. Bidding is done by use of credits. Credits can be purchased after you have completed your profile. Whereas the cost of a bid varies depending on the job posted, it is as low as $1.50.
Credits are deducted (and hence money deducted) only when you place a bid for a job, never before. Credits on your account will always remain active for as long as you remain a tutor on the platform.
When you have completed a job and the student releases payment, Nerddais.com will deduct a commission of 20% of the amount paid by the student. Additionally, the payment processing fees will be deducted from the amount paid.
Payment for credits can be made via PayPal or Stripe. These platforms allow you to pay using your debit or credit card (All major service providers)
Credits in your account never expire and are there for your use for the lifetime of the program or the duration of your membership. Any unused credits remaining in your account will be forfeited to the company should you decide to terminate your membership.
After you conclude a job, the student shall formally end the job from their account. In the absence of any disputes, you shall be paid after the student has ended the job. Ensure you update your account with your Paypal account information.
